The move has a perfect blend of emotions, Robo-fight(very Importantly not over done) and some comic scenes, what else do you want?
For me the robot fighting was great. Have been following Huge Jackman's movies off late and all have them have been good including this one. But apart from all of that the movie has an embedded message that there are things that sometimes you can not handle or overlook when you have other priorities but you can always make things right, it may be hard but it can be done.
The kid Dakota Goyo did a good job as well.
So I would say go out there and see the movie, worth every penny that you will spend for the ticket.

As his son takes an interest in robots, Charlie sees hope at a second chance in resurrecting his life. I was excited about the robot boxing theme and even though it did sound like another 'Transformers' type action flick (I was hoping it wouldn't be that bad) I wanted to see it.
As a result, Real Steel' turned out to be a pleasant surprise. There's plenty of action, emotion and humour. The robots are awesome. They look great and the action sequences are brlliantly choreographed. The visuals are impressive. Even the beauty of the cross-country landscape is excellently captured. The development of the characters and the relationship between them is very displayed.
Hugh Jackman's chemistry with Evangeline Lilly and Dakota Goyo is outstanding. This is among his better performances. Dakota Goyo too shines in his role as he delivers a balanced performance. Evangeline Lilly makes the best of her limited screen time and she is superb.
To sum it up, Real Steel' is fine entertainment. It's always nice when a movie turns out to be a pleasant surprise. One of the better action films from recent Hollywood.
